The HS2-HDG6 kit showcases ACT's renowned Heavy Duty pressure plate. Crafted with an innovative diaphragm design, these pressure plates increase clamp load, minimize deflection, and enhance the lifespan of your clutch. ACT's four-stage heat-treating process ensures unmatched performance, while precision cover stampings provide rigidity and consistency. The race-ready 6-pad disc boasts a spring-center to effectively dampen torsional vibrations and withstand tough conditions. Wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings in the ACT spring retainers offer superior support, reducing stress and increasing durability. Shifts may be harsher with the spring-centered race disc, but engagement is faster. For larger clutches that generate more heat, the 6-pad, spring-centered disc is highly recommended.
