PTP Lava Turbo Blankets effectively trap and disperse heat from your turbocharger, diminishing turbo lag, providing cooler air intake temperatures, shielding and elongating vital components under the hood (yielding up to 60% reduction in under hood heat!), and ultimately boosting horsepower. By maintaining the heat of exhaust gases within the turbocharger, efficiency is amplified, while simultaneously protecting the cool side of the turbocharger and intake path from excess heat. These blankets are expertly crafted with an outer layer comprised of pulverized volcanic lava rock and an inner layer of high temperature wool, both rated to withstand extreme heat (up to 2500°F!).   • Internally insulated with high temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool overlaid with a high temperature stainless steel mesh
  • Keeps exhaust gases hot and contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path
  • Your choice of stainless steel wire or stainless steel springs (pair)
